Patricia Swanson, the founder of UV SolBeads, has been teaching school for over 20 years. She uses the UV detective beads to teach UV awareness and the need for wearing sun protection.

When a dear colleague had a serious bout with skin cancer, Patricia decided to market UV Sol Beads as a fun way to spread awareness of the power of the sun and the need for protection from the harmful UV rays, and to support causes important to her.

Trish graduated from Purdue University in Education, and taught school for many years, including 6 years overseas in Brazil, Mexico and Kuwait.
